Solar panel and inverter insights

Solar panels

With the ever-increasing electricity prices, there has never been a better time to invest in solar and take control of your power bills. Solar energy is an environmentally friendly way to reduce the amount of electricity you consume and it is the most effective way of cutting your electricity bill and reducing your carbon footprint.

Solar panels are the most critical component of any solar power system. Choosing the best panel brand or module type is just as important as selecting the right installer to ensure smooth and safe operation.

When deciding what panels to use, it is important to consider the following;

At Arctic Energy we only offer Tier 1 panels with a proven track record for operation in the Australian climate. All of the panels that we sell have an office base in Australia. Panel manufacturers having a local office base creates a seamless process for customer support and warranty claims.

Solar Inverter

Solar inverters convert the DC power produced by the solar panels to AC power that can be used in your home, with the excess power production exported back to the grid for a Feed-in credit. The solar inverter is the most complex component of any solar system. Unfortunately, it is also the part most likely to cause issues. So it is important to ensure that you are selecting the right inverter for you.

When selecting an inverter, it is important to consider the following factors;

As an established Installer for Sungrow, Growatt and Fronius products, we have our own installer portal that allows us to monitor our installed PV systems externally. This function gives us the capability to check the operating patterns and to contact the customer if any actions are required to increase the performance of their system.

We offer a range of quality inverter brands and models to ensure we have a tailor made system to suit your energy needs and budget.

Growatt

Growatt is a New Energy enterprise dedicated to the R&D and manufacturing of PV inverters including on-grid, off-grid and storage inverters, and user side smart energy management solutions as well. The power capacity of Growatt on-grid inverters ranges from 1 kW to 100 kW, meanwhile its off-grid and storage inverters cover a power range from 1 kW to 630 kW. Growatt inverters are extensively used worldwide for applications in residential, commercial, PV poverty alleviation, utility-scale scenarios as well as other storage power station projects.

Since its foundation in 2010, Growatt has established branch offices one after another in Germany, US, UK, Australia, Brazil, Thailand, India, Netherlands, etc in order to better serve the customers across the globe. Growatt always sticks to the R&D investment and technology innovation, and provides customers with premium products and services through its core inverter technology, rigorous quality control and continuous improvement of customer service. By the end of 2018, Growatt has shipped over 1.33 million inverters to over 100 countries and regions across the globe. Growatt has been recognized as the No.1 Chinese Residential PV Inverter Brand, three years in a row according to PVBL. By 2018 Growatt has become the TOP 3 single-phase inverter brand according to the IHS Markit’s world inverter shipment ranking.
